Mitigation Foreman
Trade experience required. We will train you on restoration.
Water, fire and mold damage restoration. Full time. Field based. Marin County and the North Bay.
$28 to $35 per hour, plus bonus and incentives. Time and a half for on call and after hours work. Full benefits. Paid training.
THE TWO THINGS WE REQUIRE
Requirement 1. You know construction and you know tools.
At least 2 years working with your hands in the trades. You understand how a house is built, including framing, drywall and subfloor. You know what is behind a wall before you open it. You know which tool the job calls for, and you know when to stop and check something before you keep going.

Requirement 2. You have run a crew on a real job site.
You have been responsible for a crew's work. That means assigning tasks, setting the pace, keeping the job on schedule, and dealing with it directly when someone is not doing their part. Not a shift lead at a store or warehouse. A foreman, crew lead or superintendent on a working job site.

BACKGROUNDS THAT COUNT
Framing and carpentry. Remodeling. Demolition and tear out. Drywall. General contracting. Concrete. Roofing. Abatement and hazmat. Plumbing and mechanical. Building maintenance.
Have you worked in a respirator or inside a containment area? That helps here. Tell us when you apply.
WHAT THE JOB IS
DRYmedic responds to water damage, fire damage and mold. Most of our work is in people's homes after something has gone wrong and they need help fast.
As Mitigation Foreman you run the job site. You lead the crew through tear out and water extraction, set up the drying equipment, keep the job on schedule, and decide what to do when the job does not go according to plan.
If you have done demo and remodel work, a lot of this will already be familiar. We teach and pay for the restoration side, including moisture readings, drying science and IICRC certification.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the crew and keep jobs finishing on schedule
- Lead tear out, demolition and water extraction
- Set up and place drying equipment correctly
- Supervise technicians and subcontractors on site
- Keep the job site safe and containment set up properly
- Take photos and document every stage of the job
WHO DOES WELL HERE
The foremen who stay with us care about doing the work right. They notice problems on a job site before anyone points them out. When something goes wrong they come to us with a solution, not just the problem. They work hard themselves, and the crew works hard because of it.
ALSO REQUIRED
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in tight or confined spaces
- Clean shaven for respirator use, per OSHA
- Available for the on call rotation
- Comfortable using email and job site software
WHO WE ARE
DRYmedic holds itself to a real standard, in the work we do and in the people we hire. These are our six core values. We hire by them, we evaluate by them, and we promote by them.
Hard working. Integrity. Positivity. Communicative. Compassionate. Professionalism.
WHAT WE OFFER
- $28 to $35 per hour depending on experience
- Bonus and performance incentives
- Full benefits package
- Paid IICRC training and certification
- Time and a half for on call and after hours work
- Room to move up if you earn it
HOW TO APPLY
One thing we ask. Tell us the largest crew you have run and what kind of construction work you have done. That is the first thing we look at.
- Apply and include a short note about your trade background and crew size
- We will reach out within 24 to 48 hours for a short phone call
- Come meet the team and walk a job site with us
Restoration experience is a plus, not a requirement. We train that part.
